Job summary

Sephora is seeking a District Asset Protection Manager to lead asset protection strategies across multiple Sephora retail locations in the Houston area. You will aim to reduce shrink, mitigate risk, and strengthen operational excellence through data-driven decisions.

You will lead a district team of Asset Protection Partners, drive training, conduct audits, and partner with store leadership and corporate teams. This role requires travel and a strong compliance mindset.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years in asset protection or loss prevention in a multi-unit retail environment or equivalent leadership role.
• Proven experience handling sensitive asset protection matters with discretion and integrity.
• Demonstrated crisis management abilities in high-risk situations.
• Strong leadership: build, coach, and lead proactive Asset Protection teams.
• Excellent verbal and written communication, including presenting to senior leadership.

Responsibilities

• Shrink reduction: develop and execute district-wide asset protection strategies to reduce shrink and improve operations.
• Risk management: identify and resolve safety and profit risks with store and corporate leadership.
• Team leadership: recruit, hire, train, and lead Asset Protection Partners district-wide.
• Training & development: design and deliver training for Asset Protection Partners and store teams.
• Operational compliance: conduct regular store visits, audits, and assessments to ensure policy adherence.
• Investigations: lead investigations into shrink, internal theft, fraud, and misconduct.
• Data & analytics: use exception-based reporting to identify trends and mitigate theft.
• Systems oversight: ensure CCTV, alarms, and locks are operational.
• External partnerships: collaborate with law enforcement and partners to support ORC.
• Cross-functional collaboration: work with Store Leadership, HR, and corporate teams.
