Job summary

New Mexico Department of Transportation seeks a Senior Manager, Transportation Operations for District 3 to oversee the Administrative staff (Finance, Purchasing, Human Resources, Fleet Management, Risk Management, I.T. and Building and Grounds) and promote an efficient workforce.

You will prepare monthly and fiscal year expenditure reports, monitor expenditures against the budget, establish fleet and IT refresh plans, and coordinate human resources and risk management to minimize losses;

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• 10+ years of professional-level experience with strategic impact.
• Experience in managing a district-level budget and operations.

Responsibilities

• Oversee District 3 administrative staff and promote an efficient workforce.
• Provide monthly and fiscal year expenditure reports for budgets.
• Monitor material, service and equipment requests against approved budgets.
• Establish and maintain fleet management, IT refresh, HR, and risk programs.
• Coordinate with finance, purchasing, HR, facilities and safety teams.
