Job summary

Jobtailor in the United States (Missouri) is seeking a Distributor Relationship Manager to partner with contract hardware distributors, build and sustain relationships across the distributor organization, and drive discretionary sales through promotions and training.

You will manage distributor buying programs, conduct regular business reviews, coordinate distributor product trainings, and resolve product or field service issues while leveraging CRM-driven reporting and maintaining brand shelf

Qualifications

• College/university degree or work experience commensurate with minimum high school/GED diploma.
• Minimum of 2–3 years of industry-related experience in the distribution channel of the door & hardware industry.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools.
• Utilization and maintenance of CRM tools for sales and activity reporting.
• Working knowledge of industry-related software is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for partnering with contract hardware distribution channel
• Develop and maintain relationships in all areas of the distributor’s organization
• Actively solicit, follow-up, and negotiate all quote opportunities
• Manage distributor buying programs
• Promote distributor promotions and programs to secure discretionary sales revenue
• Conduct regularly scheduled distributor business reviews
• Plan, coordinate, and conduct distributor product/solution training sessions
• Coordinate the resolution of product and field service issues
• Manage brand shelf space at distributor accounts
