Job summary

Flowers Foods, Inc. in Pennsylvania is seeking a Distributor Accounting Clerk to perform a variety of accounting, bookkeeping and financial tasks, maintain distributor transactions, run SAP, prepare reports, and reconcile statements.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years in accounting, a high school diploma (associate degree in accounting a plus), strong Excel/Word skills, attention to detail, and ability to support receptionist duties and office tasks as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of accounting or related experience.
• High School Diploma or equivalent; Associate degree in Accounting is a plus.
• Familiarity with accounting procedures and strong numerical accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Process weekly distributor accounting data (reconciliation and expenses).
• Process distributor statements and billing.
• Review distributor reconciliation/payment proposal reports for approval.
• Investigate and resolve accounting discrepancies; reconcile external handheld data with company data for accuracy.
• Assist with receptionist duties and general office tasks as needed.
• Maintain orderly files and documentation; ensure compliance with safety and work rules.
