Job summary

Hubbell Incorporated is seeking a Distribution Flow Planner to act as the operational control tower for the Distribution Center. You will release customer orders, manage workflow across Inbound, Pick, Pack, and Shipping, and balance labor resources to maintain FIFO and on-time service.

Daily tasks include planning wave strategy, coordinating with Customer Service, and resolving bottlenecks to sustain efficient throughput and optimal service levels.

Qualifications

• Five years’ experience in a high-volume warehouse environment.
• Three years’ experience in increased responsibilities.
• Strong working knowledge of SAP and Warehouse Management Systems (WMS)
• Strong data entry and proficient with Microsoft Office applications.
• Ability to perform work for a maximum of nine hours per day.
• Willingness to embrace the Hubbell Values and Behaviors.
• Contribute to the team effort by accomplishing related results and participating in projects as needed.

Responsibilities

• Release and sequence customer orders into the operation throughout the day.
• Monitor order progression from release through picking, packing, and shipping.
• Ensure work flows efficiently between Inbound, Pick, Pack, and Shipping.
• Quickly identify and resolve bottlenecks before they impact customer service.
• Generate and distribute hourly operational reports and provide visibility to leadership.
• Communicate changes in priorities, staffing needs, and recovery actions throughout the day.
