Responsibilities
- Take orders for blood products, services, and plasma derivatives, and prepare them for delivery.
- Perform final product inspections prior to shipment and organize inventory.
- Ensure compliance with CBC’s quality system requirements.
- Provide excellent customer service, handling inquiries and communication courteously and professionally.
- Monitor and acknowledge orders via online system, classify and process orders based on urgency, and arrange transportation.
- Select and process units requiring modification, perform irradiation processing, and stock products in an organized manner.
- Inspect and handle inventory returned from customers appropriately.
- Perform equipment checks and maintain equipment, prepare blood shipment boxes, and facilitate interstate shipments including documentation.
- Manage nonconforming or unsuitable products according to procedures.
- Respond to alarms promptly and maintain accurate records.
- Adhere to attendance policies and embody CBC’s Customer Service Mission and Core Values.
Minimum Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent (must provide transcript).
- Previous customer service experience or related duties.
