Responsibilities

• Receive and stock supplies and equipment at the Distribution Center.
• Fulfill routine and STAT supply requests and distribute to designated areas.
• Maintain accurate inventory control of General Stores.
• Record every supply transaction (calls, walk-ins, requisitions) accurately.
• Utilize, load and unload distribution vehicles as needed.
• Perform basic vehicle maintenance checks and coordinate shop visits.

Distribution Technician

A Brief Overview

The Distribution Technician position is responsible to receive, stock, inventory and deliver supplies from General Stores to Tidelands Health facilities.

What you will do

• Receive and stocked supplies and equipment shipped to the Distribution Center
• Responsible for routine and STAT supply and equipment requests and distribution to designated areas.
• Responsible for proper Inventory Control of General Stores.
• Accurately record every supply transaction, including verbal (call-ins) or walk-in orders, handwritten or on-line requisitions.
• Must be able to utilize, load and unload distribution vehicles appropriately.
• Perform basic maintenance checks (air in tires, oil levels, etc). Takes vehicle to shop for maintenance as required and on schedule.
• Responsible for obtaining and retaining DOT certification and hospital insurance credibility

Qualifications

• Experience Qualifications Warehouse or Distribution experience Preferred
• Satisfactory references from present and/or previous employers Required
• Record of being able to perform manual labor Required
