Job summary

Tidelands Health in Georgetown, SC is seeking a Distribution Technician to receive, stock, and deliver supplies to hospital facilities. You will manage routine and STAT requests, maintain inventory, and record transactions to ensure smooth operations.

Experience in warehouse environments is preferred; a High School Diploma is preferred or required, and a valid driver’s license with CDL basics is expected. This role is full-time, on-site with day shifts.

• Ability to safely drive a 24-foot box truck per CDL guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Receive and stock supplies and equipment shipped to the Distribution Center.
• Distribute routine and STAT supply and equipment requests to designated areas.
• Maintain proper Inventory Control of General Stores.
• Record every supply transaction (verbal, walk-in, handwritten or online requisitions).
• Operate and load/unload distribution vehicles appropriately.
• Perform basic maintenance checks and arrange shop maintenance as needed.
• Obtain and retain DOT certification and hospital insurance credibility.

A Brief Overview

The Distribution Technician position is responsible to receive, stock, inventory and deliver supplies from General Stores to Tidelands Health facilities.

What You Will Do

• Receive and stocked supplies and equipment shipped to the Distribution Center
• Responsible for routine and STAT supply and equipment requests and distribution to designated areas.
• Responsible for proper Inventory Control of General Stores.
• Accurately record every supply transaction, including verbal (call-ins) or walk-in orders, handwritten or on-line requisitions.
• Must be able to utilize, load and unload distribution vehicles appropriately.
• Perform basic maintenance checks (air in tires, oil levels, etc). Takes vehicle to shop for maintenance as required and on schedule.
• Responsible for obtaining and retaining DOT certification and hospital insurance credibility
