Job summary

Georgia Power is seeking a Distribution Support Specialist to optimize asset management, GIS, and distribution system modeling tools. The role focuses on technical support, performance analysis, and cross-functional collaboration to maintain grid reliability and data integrity for distribution operations.

The successful candidate will work with MAXIMO, CYME, and GIS platforms, develop user guidance, and deliver training to enhance end-user proficiency.

Qualifications

Experience in technical support roles for enterprise applications.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and training/documentation abilities.
Team-oriented with ability to collaborate across vendors and internal teams.
Proficient in MS Office and related software.

Responsibilities

Provide technical support, troubleshooting, and issue resolution for MAXIMO, GIS, CYME and other applications.
Analyze performance metrics, data integrity, and user feedback to identify improvements.
Collaborate with vendors and teams on enhancements, releases, and integration projects.
Develop and deliver training sessions and documentation for end-users.
Act as a subject matter expert across multiple distribution technology platforms.
Stay current with new technology and updates to keep the team informed.
