Job summary

Georgia Power is seeking a Distribution Management System (DMS) and SCADA support professional to ensure reliable operation of the electric distribution network. You will implement, execute, and continually improve operational processes for availability and performance of DMS and related IT systems.

The role requires 24x7 support for GE Vernova SCADA and related tools, including E-terra, RTU polling, ICCP interfaces, and tool integration. Collaboration with operators and vendors is essential.

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Sciences or equivalent.
• Experience supporting and troubleshooting enterprise IT systems.
• Understanding of infrastructure, operations, and security.
• Knowledge of electric utility operations is a plus

Responsibilities

• Provide 24x7 operational support for the DMS and SCADA-related systems.
• Administer access, perform database support, and manage data acquisition via RTU polling and ICCP.
• Develop tools, interfaces, and reports delivering operational data to other departments.
• Collaborate with distribution operators, field personnel, and vendors to troubleshoot issues and implement enhancements.
