American Electric Power (AEP) seeks a capable leader to supervise the construction, maintenance and operation of the distribution system, ensuring safety and reliability for customers. You will manage budgets, staff, and restoration efforts, while upholding EEO policies and corporate procedures.

The role requires extensive experience in distribution operations and at least two years in supervisory duties, with a focus on safety, design standards, and customer service excellence.

Formación

• Minimum of 7 years' experience in distribution, construction, maintenance, and/or operations.
• Two years' supervisory experience in distribution activities or equivalent desired.

Responsabilidades

• Provide leadership and direction to ensure a safe work environment and a safe distribution system for employees and the public.
• Promote and enforce adherence to Safety and Health programs to safeguard employees, the public, and Company property; supervise resources to meet goals.
• Supervise the construction, maintenance and operation of the distribution system within design standards to meet regulatory and customer requirements; ensure employees are trained and focused on success.
• Supervise resources within assigned budgets; oversee safe and timely service restoration during outages; monitor tools, vehicles and equipment.
• Administer performance review and merit salary programs, policy manuals, and employee handbooks; recommend promotions, demotions, and disciplinary actions.
• Carry out Equal Employment Opportunity program within the assigned area of responsibility.
