GEMCORE, headquartered in Hudson, Ohio, is seeking a Distribution Supervisor to lead our busy distribution center, overseeing a team of Warehouse Associates and ensuring accurate picking, packing and shipping of healthcare products and medical supplies.

The role emphasizes leadership, training, safety, and process improvements, with a second shift (Mon-Fri, 12:15pm-9:00pm) and full-time benefits including medical, dental, and vision.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in a distribution environment, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to lead.
• Familiarity with warehouse management systems and basic math skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise all shipping and receiving activities using best practices and established standards.
• Manage Warehouse Associate productivity across cross-functional teams.
• Recommend process improvements and more efficient methods.

GEMCO Medical, a division of GEMCORE, is a well-established and growing healthcare distribution company shipping over 15,000 packages a day with detailed accuracy, has an opening for a Distribution Supervisor. The Distribution Supervisor's main responsibility will be to manage the daily activities within our distribution center of a team of Warehouse Associates that pick, pack, and ship healthcare products and medical supplies. The Distribution Supervisor will also hold a key position in welcoming new employees and ensuring all Associates are engaged within the company culture.

Responsibilities

Key Requirements

• Ability to give clear direction and provide effective training.
• Coach and motivate direct reports to achieve optimal productivity and create highly functioning teams.
• 3 - 5 years’ experience in a distribution environment, at least 2 years supervisory experience required.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Demonstrated proficiency in math, computer software, and warehouse management systems.
• Ability to lift at minimum 50 pounds
• Knowledge of Hazardous Materials and Protected freight shipping requirements a plus.
• Knowledge of OSHA compliance requirements helpful.
• High School Diploma or equivalent experience.
