Job summary

Saddle Creek Logistics Services seeks a results‑driven Warehouse Supervisor to lead a 20‑25 person team in a large, fast‑paced distribution center. You’ll drive daily operations, safety, and KPI performance while mentoring associates to grow skills and advance within the company.

Ideal candidates bring 2+ years in leadership, strong communication, Lean principles, and a track record of improving throughput and accuracy in a warehouse setting.

Qualifications

  • 2+ years in a leadership role with change management experience.
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and motivational skills.
  • Proven problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.
  • Ability to perform under pressure in a fast-paced warehouse.
  • Excellent organizational and multi-tasking abilities; cross-training ready.

Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of 20-25 hourly associates in a 600k sq ft warehouse.
  • Support client needs and demand of supply chains.
  • Maintain performance with productivity and cost control targets.
  • Ensure customer service by meeting KPIs for accuracy and inventory.
  • Drive Lean principles and process improvement.
  • Foster a clean, safe work environment and adherence to safety goals.
  • Communicate goals and progress to associates.
  • Coach and mentor team members; conduct annual reviews.

Department: Warehouse Operations Location: Ft. Worth, TX Shift: Monday - Friday, 7:00 am - 4:00 pm


What you will do:


  • Manage and lead a team of 20-25 hourly associates in a fast-paced, 600k sq ft warehouse team environment

  • Assist our wide range of clients with the needs and demands of their supply chains

  • Ensure acceptable levels of performance in assigned business unit by meeting or exceeding productivity standards and cost control management

  • Ensure exceptional customer service by meeting key performance indicators (order fill rate accuracy, unannounced inspections, inventory accuracy, etc.) for assigned area of responsibility

  • Achieve performance goals through KPI monitoring, promote LEAN principles, and process improvement

  • Lead and maintain a clean, professional, and safe work environment.

  • Meet or exceed SCLS corporate safety goals

  • Effectively communicate goals, expectations, areas for improvement, and successes to all associates

  • Coach, train, and mentor associates allowing them the opportunity to grow and develop

  • Conduct annual performance reviews


Our ideal candidate will have…


  • 2+ years of previous experience in a leadership role with a track record of implementing and managing change

  • Listening skills and strong abilities to collaborate, communicate, and motivate others to accomplish goals

  • Demonstrated success in problem-solving and decision-making to overcome obstacles and maximize opportunities

  • Ability to thrive under pressure in a fast-paced environment while focusing on exceeding operational goals

  • Strong organization and multi-tasking skills, agility, and ability to be cross-trained to do more where needed


It’s not required, but it would be even better if you have…


  • Bachelor’s Degree

  • Lean Six Sigma and continuous improvement training and experience

  • Supply chain/logistics experience is a plus but not required

  • Technical savvy (intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office, internet, web-based, and warehouse management software)
