Job summary

MRO's Distribution Center is seeking a Distribution Specialist to support print room functions, including mail sorting, packaging medical records, and generating records with high-speed printers. The role also covers other administrative tasks as assigned.

Key responsibilities include operating printers, maintaining equipment, meeting mailing turnaround times, and handling shipments labels for USPS and FedEx, while maintaining accuracy and organization in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Basic computer knowledge and data-entry accuracy required.
  • Ability to work independently in a high-volume production environment.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Capable of lifting up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

  • Operate high volume printers to produce medical records.
  • Perform operator maintenance and troubleshooting on equipment.
  • Meet and maintain mailing turnaround times by ensuring printing equipment is continuously running during the shift.
  • Sort, QC and package copies of medical records into envelopes and boxes.
  • Operate internal software to generate labels for USPS and FedEx shipments.
  • Receive and transfer incoming mail throughout the organization.
  • Operate high volume folding and inserting mail equipment.
  • Adhere to business procedure guidelines with accuracy.
  • Maintain a neat, clean, and well-organized work area.
  • Perform other administrative duties as assigned by management.

Overview

The Distribution Specialist is responsible for the overall support of MRO’s Distribution Center. This role will be responsible for multiple print room functions which include mail sorting, packaging medical records, and generating the records using high speed printers, as well as other administrative duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

  • Operate high volume printers to produce medical records that will be mailed out.
  • Perform operator maintenance and troubleshooting on equipment as needed.
  • Meet and maintain mailing turnaround times by ensuring printing equipment is continuously running during the shift.
  • Sort, QC and package copies of medical record into envelopes and boxes.
  • Operate internal software to generate labels for United States Postal Service and FedEx shipments.
  • Receive and transfer incoming mail throughout the organization.
  • Operate high volume folding and inserting mail equipment.
  • Consistently adhere to business procedure guidelines with accuracy.
  • Maintain neat, clean, and well-organized work area.
  • Performs other administrative duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent education.
  • Basic computer knowledge. Highly accurate data entry skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work effectively and independently in high volume production environments.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in verbal and written communications.
  • Able to lift items weighing up to fifty pounds.
  • Dependable, good organizational skills and positive teamwork-oriented attitude.
Total Compensation

Base pay is one element of the total compensation package.

Salary Range

It is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range. Individual pay may be influenced by factors such as skills, qualifications, experience, licensure, certifications, geographic location, and internal equity.

Pay Range

USD $18.00 - USD $20.00 /Hr.
