Job summary

Shurtape Technologies, LLC is seeking a Distribution Shift Manager to lead a team responsible for daily shipping and receiving operations. You will ensure safe, efficient workflows and coordinate with planning to meet delivery commitments.

The role requires 3-5 years of frontline supervision, strong communication, and solid logistics knowledge. You will drive process improvements and lead a team up to 35 people in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Four-year college degree or equivalent required.
• 3-5 years front-line supervision experience preferred.
• Strong communication and conflict management skills.
• Solid analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Interpersonal skills and ability to lead teams.
• Proficiency with Word, Excel, and email systems; knowledge of logistics processes.

Responsibilities

• Direct daily staffing to match workload prioritized by shipment planner and receiving schedule.
• Supervise team performance, recognizing achievements and addressing underperformance.
• Communicate and resolve item issues with related departments (Customer Care, Sourcing, Manufacturing).
• Drive productivity improvements and present warehouse enhancements to Logistics Manager.
• Monitor Warehouse Management System and assist team with problem solving.
• Lead safety, housekeeping, and staffing-related initiatives; document performance.
