Job summary

ManpowerGroup is seeking a Distribution Pallet Sorter for our Salt Lake City warehouse client. You will support daily pallet sorting, pallet repair, and yard/production tasks while following safety and quality procedures. The role emphasizes accuracy, steady pace, and hands-on work in a fast-paced environment.

Schedule is Monday–Friday, 1:00 PM–9:00 PM. Pay is $19 per hour. You must be able to lift 50–75 pounds, pass a background check and drug screen, and work outdoors in varied weather.

Responsibilities

• Hand stack pallets to appropriate heights following inventory control.
• Sort and grade pallets by hand and remove trash/debris.
• Load and unload materials from trailers by hand and move pallets around the warehouse or storage facility.
• Check loads to ensure they are secure and meet quality standards.
• Complete production paperwork accurately and communicate updates with the Shift Lead or On‑Site Manager.

Our client is seeking a Distribution Pallet Sorter to join their team. As a Distribution Pallet Sorter, you will be part of the warehouse operations team supporting daily pallet sorting, pallet repair, and yard/production support. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, a safety-first mindset, and the ability to work at a steady pace in a hands‑on environment.

Job Title: Distribution Pallet Sorter

Location: Salt Lake City, UT

Pay Range: $19

Shift: Monday - Friday, 1:00 PM - 9:00 PM

What's the Job?

• Hand stack pallets to appropriate heights while following inventory control instructions

• Sort and grade pallets by hand, ensuring all trash and debris is removed before returning pallets to customers

• Load and unload materials from trailers by hand, and move pallets/materials around the warehouse or storage facility

• Check loads to ensure they are secure and examine products/pallets to verify conformance to quality standards

• Complete production paperwork accurately and communicate updates directly with the Shift Lead or On‑Site Manager

What's Needed?

• Good math, language, and reading skills with attention to detail, plus basic computer skills

• Ability to lift 50–75 pounds repeatedly and perform repetitive physical tasks for entire shifts

• Comfort working in outdoor warehouse conditions, including extreme weather (heat, cold, and air particulate)

• Ability to maintain a clean and safe working environment and follow safety standards

• Ability to pass a background check and drug screen
