Job summary

ManpowerGroup’s client in the distribution and logistics sector is hiring a Distribution Order Picker. You will support daily warehouse operations, using RF scanning and voice picking, with a safety-forward approach and adherence to SOPs. The role runs 1st shift Monday–Friday from 10:00am to 4:30pm and offers benefits after waiting period.

You will handle materials, prepare orders, and contribute to efficient fulfillment while meeting productivity goals and following 5S practices.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Ability to follow SOPs and maintain productivity.
• Comfort in a warehouse environment with safety and housekeeping expectations.
• Capable of lifting up to 25 lb frequently and up to 50 lb occasionally.
• May be certified to drive a riding pallet jack.

Responsibilities

• Transport materials from picking area to designated areas.
• Sort and place materials on pallets according to size, type, or product code.
• Load and unload bread trays from trucks.
• Pick, stack, label, and distribute products while meeting productivity goals.

Job description

Our client, Distribution and Logistics is seeking a Distribution Order Picker to join their team. As a Distribution Order Picker, you will be part of the DSD team supporting daily warehouse operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong focus on safety, the ability to meet productivity goals, and a commitment to following standard operating procedures which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Distribution Order Picker

Pay Range: $17.6

Shift: 1st Shift (Monday through Friday 10:00am -4:30pm)

What's the Job?

• Transport materials and items from the picking area to other designated areas.
• Sort and place materials or items on pallets and/or bakery dollies according to predetermined sequence such as size, type, style, color, or product code.
• Load and unload bread trays from trucks.
• Pick, stack, label, and distribute products within the warehouse while meeting productivity goals.
• Use RF scanning and voice picking equipment for directed order picking, if applicable, and follow safety, food safety, and hygiene guidelines.

What's Needed?

• High School diploma or GED equivalent; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to follow standard operation procedures and maintain consistent productivity.
• Comfort working in a warehouse environment while adhering to safety and housekeeping expectations.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds frequently and up to 50 pounds occasionally, and to follow safe lifting practices.
• May be certified to drive a riding pallet jack (as applicable) and must be able to report defective equipment and all job-related injuries/property damage to supervision.
