Job summary

Uline, a family-owned distributor of shipping, industrial and packaging materials, is seeking a Director of Distribution Operations in Pennsylvania. Lead a 2.5 million sq ft operation, coach 500+ staff, and drive safety, accuracy, productivity, and same-day shipping from the warehouse floor.

You will partner with managers to optimize inbound, outbound, and supporting departments, using data-driven improvements and KPIs to elevate service levels and operational excellence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 10+ years leading high-volume distribution operations, with direct leadership of warehouse managers and teams of 400+ people.
• Experience managing with KPIs, performance metrics and WMS.
• Strong problem-solving, communication and decision-making skills in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead by example on the warehouse floor, coaching employees to high levels of accuracy and safety.
• Direct all aspects of day-to-day warehouse operations across inbound, outbound and supporting departments.
• Coach and develop warehouse managers leading 500+ employees.
• Drive operational excellence to deliver service and same-day shipping.
• Investigate challenges and implement data-driven improvements to strengthen warehouse performance.
