Job summary

Uline in Allentown, PA seeks a hands-on Director of Distribution & Operations to lead from the warehouse floor, coaching and developing managers while driving safety, accuracy and on-time shipping. You will oversee inbound, outbound and support functions across 2.5+ million square feet, manage 500+ staff, and use KPIs and a WMS to push continuous improvement.

A bachelor’s degree and 10+ years of high-volume distribution leadership are required; attractive compensation and bonus programs are

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree required.
10+ years leading high-volume distribution operations with teams of 400+ people.
Proven track record improving productivity, quality and safety through operational leadership.
Experience using KPIs and performance metrics with WMS.
Strong problem solving, communication and decision-making in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Lead on the warehouse floor, coaching 500+ employees and ensuring accuracy, productivity and safety.
Direct all day-to-day warehouse operations across inbound, outbound and supporting departments.
Coach and develop warehouse managers to build high-performing teams.
Drive operational excellence to deliver industry-leading service and same-day shipping.
Investigate issues and implement data-driven improvements to boost performance.
