Job summary

Home by AMES in Reno, NV is seeking a Distribution Operator 3 to operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and related equipment to move, stock, and count merchandise. You will participate in unloading, put-away, picking, replenishment, and line duties while maintaining inventory accuracy and safety.

The role requires lifting up to 55 lbs, knowledge of RF scanners, and experience with inventory software. Certification in industrial lift trucks is required or pursued as part of the job.

Qualifications

• High School or GED recommended.
• Knowledge of inventory software and order processing systems.
• Knowledge of RF Scanner.
• Able to push, pull, lift 55 LBS continuously throughout the shift.

Responsibilities

• Unload inbound shipments and move product to storage locations.
• Efficiently stock and store merchandise in appropriate areas.
• Loading, unloading, moving, stocking and staging products using forklift or other material handling equipment.
• Pull and prepare product for shipment ensuring the exact number and types of product is loaded.
• Keep appropriate records and reports for inventory accuracy.
• Comply with OSHA regulations and MSDS standards.
• Report quality variances.
• Maintain the facilities equipment and materials in a neat, clean, orderly fashion.
• Assist in physical inventories.
• Conduct operations in a manner promoting safety.
