Job summary

BD is seeking a Distribution Manager to lead all activities within the distribution center, acting as a bridge between warehouse operations and manufacturing senior leadership. The role ensures safe, efficient, compliant, and cost-effective facility operations with focus on staffing, scheduling, and program development.

The position requires 5–10 years in related fields and proven leadership, emphasizing GMP/SOP knowledge, WMS proficiency, and strong analytical and communication skills.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED with 5-10 years of relevant experience in manufacturing, distribution, supply chain, business operations, or a related area.
• 2+ years of proven leadership experience.
• Authorized to work for any employer in the United States; visa sponsorship not available.

Responsibilities

• Develop and direct programs to ensure efficient, cost-effective operation and utilization of the facility.
• Maintain awareness of work volumes to ensure staffing and scheduling based on customer requirements.
• Provide direction in the development and maintenance of warehouse management systems.
• Evaluate space utilization and implement changes to increase capacity as volumes change.
• Use LMS data to monitor productivity and drive performance toward goals.
• Foster a positive, structured, and accountable work environment aligned with BD's values.
