Qualifications

• You will bring a Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or equivalent experience.
• You shall offer at least five years of experience in transportation or distribution management with proven success supervising drivers and mechanics.
• Strong knowledge of transportation regulations and compliance requirements.
• Demonstrated leadership abilities that motivate a diverse team to achieve high performance.
• Strategic planning skills to optimize distribution efficiency and reduce costs.

Responsibilities

• You will oversee regional distribution operations to ensure products are delivered safely, efficiently, and on time.
• You will manage a fleet of 25 tractors and 25 trailers, optimizing utilization to meet delivery schedules and reduce costs.
• You shall lead and develop a team of 48 drivers and 3 mechanics, fostering a high-performance culture centered on safety and service excellence.
• Additionally uphold adherence to transportation regulations and company policies related to safety and environmental standards.
• Monitor and coordinate deliveries and miles driven annually to maintain efficiency and reliability.
• Develop and execute strategies for operational improvements including route optimization and process enhancements.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with other departments to align distribution efforts with business objectives and customer needs.
