IMS represents leading brands at the point of purchase and provides warehousing, kitting, and fulfillment services in North America. The Assistant Distribution Manager will oversee packaging, shipping, and inventory control in our Atlanta, GA distribution facility, reporting to the Distribution Manager and guiding a team of 10–50 employees and contractors.

Formación

• Minimum of four years of distribution and project management experience.
• Experience starting up new clients & facilities, working with WMS & RF and having Six Sigma experience is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Account service – plan projects with account teams and Client project managers.
• P&L responsibilities – manage monthly forecasts, monitor GP, control expenses.
• Inventory management – manage receiving, shipping, and inventory control processes.
• Project management – plan staff, space, and supplies for projects.
• Quality assurance – ensure quality meets client requirements.
• Oversee kit pack-out and distribution to deliver on-time, under-budget results.
• Ensure adherence to ISO 9001:2008 procedures.
• Oversee project close including system work, cleanup, put-away, and invoicing.
• Staffing – assist in hiring, training, development, motivation, and performance.
• Safety & OSHA – ensure compliance with safety and OSHA requirements.
