Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required or equivalent experience.
• Bachelor's degree plus 3 years of distribution ops/utility experience or Associate's degree plus 5 years of distribution ops/utility experience.
• Thorough knowledge of distribution systems and strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and direction to deliver a safe work environment and safe distribution system.
• Promote and enforce safety programs to safeguard employees, the public and Company property.
• Supervise resources and assets to meet business and corporate goals.
• Oversee construction, maintenance and operation of the distribution system to meet design standards and regulatory requirements.
• Lead and train employees to ensure knowledge, motivation and success.
• Manage budgets for resources and operations.
• Ensure timely service restoration during outages.
• Coordinate tools, vehicles and equipment acquisition, use and maintenance.
• Administer performance reviews and salary programs per company policy.
• Recommend promotions, demotions, hiring and disciplinary actions.

Education
