Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Business Administration, or related field preferred; equivalent combination of education and experience considered.
• Minimum 5 years of leadership experience in transportation, distribution, warehousing, shipping, logistics, or customer service operations.
• Experience leading employees in a unionized environment preferred.
• Working knowledge of warehouse management, inventory control, lean principles, and distribution processes.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office; SAP or similar ERP/WMS experience preferred.
• Demonstrated success leading teams in a safety-focused, continuous improvement environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily shipping, receiving, and warehouse operations to ensure on-time customer deliveries.
• Foster a safety-driven culture and enforce compliance with regulations and policies.
• Drive continuous improvement to safety, quality, productivity, and inventory accuracy.
• Coach and develop team members through training and performance management.
• Manage inventory accuracy via cycle counting and stock level monitoring.
• Coordinate material movement including interplant transfers and rework activities.
• Monitor productivity, staffing, and KPIs to meet objectives.
• Conduct shipment audits and implement corrective actions.
• Collaborate on warehouse layout and equipment to support growth.
