Job summary

Burns & McDonnell in Raleigh, NC, seeks a Distribution Modernization Department Manager to lead the MAR T&D team. You will align people and workload with business needs, promote a high-performing, inclusive culture, and drive safe, high-quality project delivery across the region.

You will work closely with MAR T&D leadership, national Distribution Modernization leadership, account managers and other delivery teams to ensure profitable growth and client satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, architecture, construction or related field required.
• Proven leadership and management experience preferred.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills; ability to present complex information clearly.

Responsibilities

• Provide managerial direction and leadership for the Distribution Modernization department.
• Direct and coordinate staffing, workload and team structures to meet project requirements.
• Promote safe, high-quality project delivery and adherence to budget and schedule.
• Develop leaders within the department and support succession planning.
• Collaborate with MAR T&D leadership, account managers and global delivery teams to align staffing and delivery.
