Job summary

Southern California Edison is seeking a Distribution Journeyman Lineman to join the Distribution organization, responsible for installing, removing, maintaining and repairing overhead and underground distribution and communication systems.

Safety is a top priority; you will work with apprentices, operate test equipment and construction vehicles, and potentially relocate. DOT screening applies; CPR certification is preferred. Equal opportunity employer.

Qualifications

• Certified Journeyman Lineman with Journeyman card.
• Valid Class A driver's license.
• Experience climbing utility poles and working with poles.
• CPR certification from Red Cross or American Heart Association preferred.
• DOT drug and/or alcohol screening applicable.

Responsibilities

• Installs, removes, maintains, and repairs overhead and underground distribution and communication systems.
• Installs and removes equipment such as poles, cross arms, towers, enclosures, ducts and piping and electrical or other apparatus such as transformers, switches, capacitors, etc.
