Job summary

The Dixon Group in Dallas, NC is seeking a dependable Distribution Lead to support daily warehouse operations and lead a team. This hands-on role involves shipping, receiving, stocking, picking, packing, and order verification in a fast-paced environment.

You will train and guide staff, maintain inventory, promote a safe workspace, and operate our warehouse management system (WMS). Strong leadership and problem-solving are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous warehouse or material handling experience preferred.
• Forklift experience or willingness to be trained and certified.
• Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs. throughout shift.
• Strong teamwork, communication, and leadership skills.
• Sense of urgency and commitment to deadlines.
• Flexibility to take on various tasks as needed.
• Ability to read, write, and perform basic math.

Responsibilities

• Lead, train, and support a team to meet daily production goals.
• Perform shipping, receiving, stocking, picking, and packing activities.
• Review, verify, and process customer orders accurately.
• Replenish materials and maintain inventory organization.
• Promote a clean, safe, and efficient workspace.
• Operate within an automated warehouse management system (WMS).
