Job summary

The Dixon Group in Dallas, NC is seeking a dependable Distribution Lead to support daily warehouse operations and guide a team through the shift. This hands-on role involves coordinating receiving, shipping, stocking, and order processing in a fast-paced environment.

You will lead by example, ensure safety, maintain inventory accuracy in the WMS, and adapt to changing daily priorities. A high school diploma and forklift experience are preferred; ability to lift up to 50 lbs throughout the shift

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous warehouse or material-handling experience preferred.
• Forklift experience or willing to be trained and certified.
• Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs. throughout the shift.
• Strong teamwork, communication, and leadership skills.
• A sense of urgency and commitment to meeting deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Lead, train, and support a team to meet daily production goals.
• Perform shipping, receiving, stocking, picking, and packing activities.
• Review, verify, and process customer orders accurately.
• Replenish materials and maintain inventory organization.
• Promote a clean, safe, and efficient workspace.
• Operate within an automated warehouse management system (WMS).
• Adapting to changing priorities and daily workflow needs.

• As a Distribution Lead, you’ll play a key role in the success of our operation by:
• Leading, training, and supporting a team to meet daily production goals
• Performing shipping, receiving, stocking, picking, and packing activities
