Job summary

Woodgrain is seeking a Distribution Inside Sales Representative in Taunton, MA to support branch sales for building materials and millwork. The role requires handling an array of products, generating quotes, and maintaining customer relationships by phone and email.

You will convert inbound inquiries, provide timely quotes, manage order status, and work with the Sales Manager to meet targets. Base pay with commission, benefits, and career growth await in a growing company.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• 3–5 years of related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Proficient computer skills with MS Office and ability to work over the phone with customers.

Responsibilities

• Convert inbound inquiries into actual sales and quote accordingly.
• Overcome objections and promote building materials products.
• Provide price quotes and prepare sales orders for orders obtained.
• Make outbound sales calls based on activity plans from the Sales Manager.
• Develop and maintain strong customer relationships.
• Estimate delivery dates based on schedules and product knowledge.
• Resolve customer issues, including warranty matters.
• Update customers on changes to delivery dates and orders.
