Job summary

Qualus is seeking an Engineering Technician II in Los Angeles to support distribution design and regulatory compliance. You will collaborate with project teams, use Pole Foreman, Maximo, GDT, and AutoCAD to prepare and review design packages, and contribute to quality control and client satisfaction.

Ideal candidates have 1–3+ years in distribution design, strong communication, and the ability to manage multiple projects with attention to detail.

Qualifications

• AA/AS degree or equivalent; bachelor's in engineering preferred to qualify as Engineer title.
• 1–3+ years in Utility Distribution design with Pole Foreman, Maximo, GDT, or AutoCAD.
• Strong communication and customer service focus with good document management.

Responsibilities

• Apply electrical distribution standards and regulatory requirements.
• Support Engineering Manager with project assignments and client relations.
• Prepare and review project design packages using listed software.
• Review designs for quality and regulatory compliance.
• Communicate effectively with internal, client, and regulatory teams.
• Identify training opportunities and adapt to changing workloads.
