Job summary

The Engineering Supervisor at Georgia Power will lead the Savannah, Statesboro, or Springfield engineering team with a focus on safety and reliability. You must live within commutable distance to the operating headquarters, with up to 25% travel and relocation benefits may be available.

This role requires developing team members, communicating goals, and managing performance. You will work with other departments to deliver best-in-class customer value and oversee area-wide budgets and system

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field.
• 3+ years of supervisory experience with performance management.
• 5+ years of distribution and/or transmission experience preferred.
• Proven record of dealing effectively with customers.
• Cross-functional, cross-company experience is a plus.
• Experience managing capital and O&M budgets preferred.
• Experience with storm response and planning preferred.
• Experience with distribution software and support applications is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead the engineering team in a Safety Excellence environment.
• Develop team members and provide performance management.
• Plan, design, and supervise activities in the area for reliability.
• Monitor area-wide budgets and ensure system maintenance.
• Address customer issues and coordinate with other departments.
