Job summary

POWERX is seeking a Distribution Engineer II to design, estimate, and coordinate the construction of overhead and underground power distribution projects for residential, commercial, and industrial customers. You will lead capital and O&M projects through all phases of development.

You will work with cross-functional teams to ensure safety, reliability, and regulatory compliance, and you will maintain project documentation, reports, and client communications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Civil or General).
• 1-3 years of progressive engineering experience.
• EIT or PE license preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design, estimate, and coordinate the construction of overhead and underground power distribution systems for residential, commercial, and industrial customers.
• Lead and manage Capital and O&M projects through all phases of development, from concept to closeout.
• Identify and implement innovative engineering solutions to improve system reliability, cost efficiency, and safety.
