Job summary

eZone staffing LLC seeks a Distribution Engineer to assist in planning and implementing electric distribution systems. You will prepare drawings, staking for layouts, and work with SCADA, outage management, and mapping tools to ensure safe, reliable operation.

Responsibilities include coordination with operations teams and designing work orders for field crews, with field time and occasional office work. Candidate should understand NEC and tariffs, be able to work non-standard hours, and live

Qualifications

Knowledge of electric power distribution design and operation.
Familiarity with NEC, tariffs, and PSC rules and regulations.
Willingness to work non-standard hours and in emergencies.
Must live within 30 miles of Client headquarters and have a valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

Assist in planning, preparation, and implementation of systems analyses and planning studies.
Assist in developing construction specs and procedures.
Prepare engineering drawings and staking for subdivision layouts, state highways, and mapping records.
Work with outage management, SCADA, and mapping tools to support safe distribution operations.
Assist with sectionalizing studies and ensure proper system coordination.
Collaborate with Client operations, crews, and contractors to complete projects safely.
Design work orders with staking personnel meeting Client policies.
