Job summary

TRC, Member of WSP, is hiring a Distribution Engineer I in Greenville, SC, to work in our Power Distribution team. The role focuses on complex design for overhead and underground electric distribution systems, including drawings, specs, and estimates for review by the lead engineer.

You will contribute to multiple engineering disciplines, with opportunities to learn and apply standards, perform calculations, and coordinate with project teams to meet schedules.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering required.
• Ability to handle contacts with clients and other agencies in project design.
• Demonstrated leadership and technical capability.

Responsibilities

• Prepare manual or computer aided design drawings of a complex nature.
• Perform design services with drawings, specifications, and standards.
• Prepare overhead/underground engineering calculations and analyses.
• Coordinate equipment deliveries and design development to meet schedules.
• Other duties as assigned.
