Job summary

HireTalent is seeking a Distribution Engineer II to support deployment and integration of automated field devices within electric distribution systems. This role emphasizes system modeling, device configuration, and integration with advanced grid management platforms.

The successful candidate will work independently while collaborating with engineering and field teams to ensure reliable and efficient system performance, troubleshooting, and ongoing support of grid projects.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of experience in power systems or distribution engineering.
• Hands-on experience with capacitor bank controllers and ADMS.
• Strong understanding of power distribution systems and utility operations.
• Experience with system modeling tools such as Synergi and CYME.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced engineering environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field.
