The successful candidate will work independently while collaborating with engineering and field teams to ensure reliable and efficient system performance, troubleshooting, and ongoing support of grid projects.

Qualifications

  • 2–3 years of experience in power systems or distribution engineering.
  • Hands-on experience with capacitor bank controllers and ADMS.
  • Strong understanding of power distribution systems and utility operations.
  • Experience with system modeling tools such as Synergi and CYME.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced engineering environment.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field.

  • Set up and configure automated power system equipment such as capacitor banks and protection devices.
  • Run engineering studies to ensure the electrical distribution system operates safely and efficiently.
  • Enter and maintain device information in company databases.
  • Connect field equipment to the ADMS so operators can monitor and control devices remotely.
  • Monitor device performance and troubleshoot issues.
  • Test and validate smart meter functionality.
  • Work with engineers, designers, and field crews to support grid projects.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to field personnel.

Must Have Skills:
