Job summary

Tampa Electric Company is seeking a Service Area Coordinator to provide administrative, technical, and office support for Distribution Design work management. You will handle engineering packages, GIS-based layouts, CRM/WorkPro tasks, and reporting while ensuring records retention and customer service excellence.

The role offers opportunities for advancement based on performance and increased duties within the department.

Qualifications

• Minimum of a High School Diploma or GED.
• Associate's Degree from an accredited college/university preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assemble engineering work packages and distribute to departments; process permits as needed.
• Enter layout information in WorkPro for URD services and meters; use GIS for proposed services.
• Maintain central filing; act as Records Coordinator and follow retention schedule.
• Provide technical support for MS Office, WorkPro, CRM; generate reports and presentations.
• Back up Senior SAC; dispatch tickets, set up kWh billing, handle inquiries and PCad tickets.
