Job summary

NFI Industries in Winchester, VA is seeking a Distribution Customer Service Representative to handle inquiries, process orders, and manage documents and communications with customers. You will coordinate with Traffic and Operations to expedite orders, maintain accurate invoicing, and ensure service standards across departments.

The role requires strong computer skills, excellent communication, and flexibility to work irregular hours, including nights and weekends.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or equivalent required.
• Strong computer knowledge including MS Office.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to work irregular hours including nights, weekends or holidays.

Responsibilities

• Respond to inquiries and complaints concerning work orders, invoices, shipments, and inventory in a courteous, effective manner.
• Process and input customer orders.
• Produce stock reports to check product availability.
• Prepare paperwork and information required for customer work orders.
• Coordinate special and last-minute shipping requests with Traffic and Operations.
• Provide follow-up with other departments to ensure service standards are met.
• Ensure proper invoicing by verifying invoices.
• Prepare shipping and tracing information for customers.
• Maintain damage records and back order logs.
• Communicate customer feedback to management, including signs of dissatisfaction.
• Liaise between warehouse, office, and customers regarding invoicing and credits.
