Job summary

The Distribution Customer Service Representative at NFI handles customer inquiries, processes orders and receipts, and manages communications between customers, the warehouse, and the office to ensure accurate invoicing and timely shipments.

Responsibilities include answering phones, routing calls, maintaining files, and generating stock and shipping paperwork while upholding service standards and collaborating with Traffic and Operations teams.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or equivalent required.
• Strong computer knowledge including MS Office applications.
• Basic typing skills.
• Familiarity with 10-key.
• Shipping software systems including UPS and Federal Express.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Excellent customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Interacts with customers by responding to inquiries and complaints in a courteous and effective manner.
• Processes and inputs all customer orders.
• Produces stock reports to check product availability.
• Prepares shipping and tracing information for customers as required.
• Coordinates shipping requests with Traffic and Operations, expediting orders as needed.
• Maintains accurate invoicing and paperwork for orders and accounts.
