Description

Summary:

This person is expected to acknowledge and uphold the City Mission’s Statement of Faith. This position is expected to assist in the day-to-day operations at the Distribution Center, including assisting with incoming donations, riding in the box truck to assist with red box pick-ups, and maintaining the cleanliness of the warehouse. This person will report directly to the Director of Social Enterprise.

Specific Responsibilities:

• Assist in sorting donated goods, including small home items, décor, and various clothing items.
• Assist team members while on the box truck to empty out donations in the red boxes, and load them into the truck.
• Able to assist with emptying box trucks
• Maintain cleanliness on the interior and exterior of the box trucks.
• Maintain cleanliness of the interior and exterior of the warehouse
• Assist with bailing
• Additional duties as needed

Qualifications

Qualifications and Skills:

City Mission of Schenectady provides a compensation range to comply with the New York State Law on Pay Transparency in Job Advertisements. The compensation range for this role is $16.00 per hour - $20.00 per hour. Actual compensation rates depend on a variety of factors, including experience, specialty, and education. The compensation range listed does not include bonuses/incentive, differential pay and or other forms of compensation or benefits.
