Job summary

Clopay Corporation is hiring a Distribution Center Supervisor for our Mendota Heights location. You will lead daily warehouse operations, supervise staff, and ensure efficient order processing and customer satisfaction.

The role requires forklift certification, 2+ years supervisory experience, and the ability to lift 50 lbs regularly. This is a hands-on position with emphasis on safety, accuracy, and teamwork to support timely delivery of products.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred or combination of experience and education.
• Minimum of 2 years supervisory experience, preferably in a Warehouse or Distribution Center setting.
• Forklift experience/certification is required.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. on a routine basis and 75 lbs. occasionally. Ability to stand, bend, twist and climb frequently.
• Good computer skills.
• Outstanding customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Make customer service and customer satisfaction a high priority; assist CSRs with elevated issues.
• Administer order entry control and pricing policies per company guidelines.
• Hire, train and develop employees to work productively with urgency and positive customer service attitude.
• Manage inventories to achieve high service level, planned inventory turns and minimize slow moving inventory.
• Administer division price policy per division guidelines.
• Manage expenses and operating ratios to perform at or better than budget.
• Coordinate with manufacturing plants to ensure on-time product availability.
• Order product for Distribution Center from various sources.
• Communicate with customers in person and by phone with superior service and communication skills.
• Assist in pricing quotes and orders under automation system controls.
• This is a working supervisor position; will work in warehouse daily, lifting 50lbs frequently, bending, twisting and climbing.
