  • Own short‑term operational performance for the distribution center, including productivity, inventory accuracy, safety metrics, and service levels.
  • Plan and optimize warehouse layouts, workflows, and material handling methods to support safe, efficient receiving, storage, and shipping operations.
  • Oversee inventory control activities, including cycle counts, discrepancy investigations, and corrective actions to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Lead and implement continuous improvement initiatives, including process, layout, and system enhancements that improve efficiency and operational performance.
  • Establish work procedures, schedules, and staffing plans to meet operational requirements while balancing service levels and labor efficiency.
  • Prepare and analyze operational and productivity reports; identify trends and implement corrective actions as required.
  • Make independent operational decisions within established guidelines to address staffing, workflow, inventory, and service‑level issues.
  • Provide primary operational input into hiring, performance management, discipline, and employee development decisions.
  • Enforce company policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements; promote a strong safety culture through incident reporting and follow‑up.
  • Partner with the DC Manager and cross‑functional teams to support departmental planning, operational readiness, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Perform other duties as may be assigned.
Required Qualification

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel and Word.
  • Ability to interpret policies, procedures, and safety requirements and apply them consistently and fairly.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead teams, manage performance, and address employee concerns in a professional and consistent manner.
Preferred Qualification
