Job summary

Ferguson Enterprises, LLC in Stockton, CA is seeking an experienced Shipping Manager to lead a 10-15 person distribution team on the 1st shift (6am–4pm). You will oversee receipt, packing and shipping tasks, ensure accurate documentation, and train staff on fulfillment processes while coordinating with other departments.

A bachelor’s degree or 5+ years’ warehouse leadership experience is preferred; 2-5 years in supply chain management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or 5+ years hands-on warehouse experience preferred.
• 2-5 years' management experience in supply chain distribution.
• WMS and LMS experience strongly preferred.
• Proficient in OSHA and DOT regulations.
• Project management experience desired (LEAN, KAIZEN, Agile).
• Experience implementing employee engagement, mentoring and development initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates day-to-day general receipt, preparation and shipping tasks, ensuring quality and efficiency of work.
• Coordinates and checks the fulfillment documentation processes, ensuring correct documentation.
• Provides subject matter guidance and training to team members on new or updated fulfilment processes and standards.
• Liaises with all departments to ensure smooth shipping and delivery of goods, acting as a key point of contact for the team.
• Analyzes information to identify areas of improvement within own area of fulfillment responsibility and implements measures to improve the efficiency of the team.
• Adhere to Company compliance and Health Safety and Environment (HSE) policies, procedures, and requirements.
• Regular and reliable attendance.

If you are a proven leader in warehouse management, order fulfillment, inventory control, process management, work-shift coordination, and are organized with great communication skills, this is the position for you! This position coordinates a team of 10-15 hourly associates working a 1st shift schedule (6am-4pm).

• Pay Range: - $4,537.80 - $9,982.50 - Estimated Ranges displayed are Monthly for Salaried roles OR Hourly for all other roles.
• This role is Bonus or Incentive Plan eligible.
• Ferguson complies with all wage regulations. The starting wage may be higher in certain locations based on local or state wage requirements.
