Job summary

Benjamin Moore is hiring for a Distribution Center Supervisor to organize and lead shift workloads, optimize throughput, and ensure on-time order fulfillment. The role emphasizes safety, quality, and continuous improvement within a dynamic warehouse environment.

Ideal candidates will have a high school diploma or equivalent (associate degree preferred), experience in distribution, and strong communication and computer skills, including WMS and SAP.

Qualifications

• High School degree required or equivalent; an associate degree is preferred.
• Experience in a dynamic distribution environment.
• Solid verbal and written communication skills.
• Requires demonstrated computer skills, working knowledge of the WMS as well as an aptitude to keep current with new electronic information systems.
• Competency and confidence in utilizing MS Office Excel, Outlook, Word, and SAP.
• Ability to operate motorized material handling equipment such as forklifts, electric pallet jacks, reach truck, scissor lift.

Responsibilities

• Organize and execute the distribution center’s workload by shift to ensure on-time, in-full completion of all orders to customers.
• Recognizes, recommends, and implements ways to delegate work, leverage manpower, maximize efficiency, and resolve problems during peak and non-peak times.
• Coordinate and monitor inbound, outbound, tint specials, replenishment, and review daily KPI Reports.
• Review and resolve shipping errors and develop strategies to minimize them.
• Utilize 5S and Continuous Improvement to identify and sustain process improvements.
• Oversee safety, cleanliness, and equipment condition; ensure OSHA/DOT compliance.
