Job summary

Ross Stores, Inc. is seeking a Distribution Center Supervisor to lead production and distribution of merchandise to stores. The role focuses on turning plans into efficient operations and ensuring accuracy in records.

You will manage a team of Area Supervisors and hourly staff, coach performance, and partner with HR on staffing, training, and safety in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

Qualifications

• Strong communications skills (both oral and written).
• Minimum of 5 - 8 years management experience in a similar retail production/distribution environment.
• Strong planning and organizational skills are necessary.
• Bilingual preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage staff to ensure timely and accurate processing and distribution of merchandise to stores.
• Establishes area objectives and coaches Area Supervisors to reach their team's productivity goals.
• Acts as a troubleshooter to assist in resolving day-to-day problems, as well as long-term resolution planning.
• Provides Area Supervisors operational guidance in organizing and prioritizing daily work and staffing needs to meet production goals.
• Maintains an issue free environment and fosters a positive team culture.
