Job summary

Ferguson Enterprises, Inc. seeks a Distribution Center Department Manager for Coxsackie, NY. The role leads a department across receiving, inventory control, replenishment, order fulfillment, picking and shipping to deliver safe, accurate and timely customer service.

You will coach supervisors and hourly staff and partner with HR to build a high-performing team. The ideal candidate will bring 5+ years in warehouse operations and 3+ years of leadership, with WMS/LMS experience, OSHA knowledge,

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in warehouse, distribution, logistics, manufacturing, or supply chain operations.
• 3+ years of leadership experience managing warehouse associates, team leads, and/or supervisors.
• Experience leading operations in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
• Demonstrated ability to drive performance through coaching, development, and accountability.
• Working knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and Labor Management Systems (LMS).
• Strong understanding of warehouse operations, inventory management, and productivity measurement.
• Knowledge of OSHA regulations and warehouse safety standards.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and operational reporting tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily warehouse operations within an assigned department.
• Direct the flow of inventory, materials, and customer orders.
• Monitor performance and implement efficiency improvements.
• Ensure compliance with SOPs, controls, and policies.
• Staff and develop supervisors and hourly associates with HR.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet goals.
• Drive safety and regulatory compliance across the area.
• Coordinate with other shifts to ensure smooth facility operations.
