Job summary

Solventum, formerly 3M Health Care, is seeking a Forest City Distribution Center Director to lead the onsite operations in Forest City, IA. You will drive strategic and operational leadership to ensure safe, compliant, reliable, and cost-effective distribution while delivering outstanding customer service.

You will develop leaders, partner with cross-functional teams, manage budgets, and advance continuous improvement through Lean Six Sigma and automation to boost service, capacity, and cost

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher with 10+ years in supply chain/warehousing roles.
• High School Diploma with 14+ years in supply chain roles.
• Three years of direct supervisory experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead all distribution center operations ensuring safety, compliance, reliability and cost-effectiveness.
• Drive site performance in safety, quality, service, inventory, productivity, and delivery.
• Develop frontline and salaried leaders; foster accountability and continuous improvement.
• Partner with planning, transportation, customer operations, quality, EHS, IT, finance and external providers.
• Manage site budgets, labor planning, and staffing models to meet objectives.
• Implement governance via KPIs, reviews, problem solving and accountability processes.
• Champion Lean Six Sigma and automation to improve service, capacity, and cost.
