Solventum in Forest City, IA seeks a Distribution Center Operations Manager to lead daily DC operations, including inbound/outbound, labor planning, and performance improvement. You will drive safety, quality, cost, and productivity, coach supervisors and frontline teams, and implement continuous improvements to meet business objectives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher with 7+ years in supply chain, distribution, logistics, manufacturing, and/or operations, or High School Diploma with 11+ years of experience.
• Direct supervisory experience.
• Project implementation / project management experience.
• Additional qualifications in Supply Chain, Logistics or Engineering can help.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily distribution center operations (inbound, outbound, material flow, warehousing) to meet safety, service, quality, cost, and productivity goals.
• Develop and execute labor, equipment, space, and capacity plans to support performance targets.
• Ensure compliance with EHS, regulatory, transportation, import/export, security and handling requirements.
• Monitor key metrics, identify gaps, and implement corrective actions and improvements.
• Provide leadership and accountability for supervisors and frontline employees; drive engagement.
• Manage operating expenses, labor utilization, productivity, and overtime to meet financial objectives.
• Lead tier meetings, operating reviews and Gemba walks; coordinate with logistics stakeholders.
