D&H Distributing Co. is seeking an experienced Director of Distribution for the Harrisburg area. This onsite role leads all DC operations, ensuring safety, quality, and performance metrics align with corporate goals.

You will shape budgets, drive continuous improvement, mentor DC leaders, and ensure strong customer and co-owner communications while collaborating with other DCs and support teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Logistics/Engineering or related field.
• Ten years of experience managing logistics contracts.
• 5+ years in a senior management role in a large-volume logistics environment.
• Experience managing multiple management levels and a large hourly workforce.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects amid changing priorities.
• Mentoring and developing direct reports.

Responsibilities

• Direct policy and procedures for operations and drive adherence.
• Ensure safety and quality compliance; maintain security of the building.
• Set goals for the DC and monitor achievement.
• Lead annual DC budgeting and cost-out initiatives.
• Ensure accurate status reporting and records of warehouse operations.
• Drive ISO certification and continuous improvement culture.
• Develop and implement communication with co-owners and stakeholders.
• Foster relationships with other DCs and corporate; respond to customer inquiries.
